Do you want to try a revolutionary new hearing aid technology that is not yet available on the market and derive satisfaction in knowing that your feedback will help future generations of those with hearing impairment? There is no charge to you for participating in these clinical studies.

Study Details:

An upcoming clinical study will be testing a new prototype of Lyric. The new prototype is designed to fit more people than the Lyric on the market today. The study will examine the range of ear sizes the device fits, how long the device lasts, comfort of the device during wear, and sound quality. There is NO CHARGE to participate in the study.

Studies last up to a maximum of 120 days at which time the device(s) are removed. A subject is required to visit the study site approximately 6 times during the study. These visits take approximately 30 minutes, during which time hearing tests, surveys and questionnaires will be administered.

Ideal candidates must have hearing loss in both ears and be interested in wearing a continuous wear hearing device for up to four months.

In order to first determine study candidacy, several questions related to medical and audiological history will be asked by telephone interview. Following the inteview, an appointment will be scheduled to visit the study site in Fremont, CA, to size your ear canals and to perform audiometric (hearing) testing.

Participant Requirements:

• Participant should have hearing loss in both ears, preferably
   professionally diagnosed.
• Participant must be over 18 years of age.
• Participants must live in the San Francisco Bay Area. No
   exceptions.
• Participants must be able to reasonably commute to appointments
    in Fremont, CA. Those who live or work within 1
    hour of Fremont have historically been the most successful in our
    clinical studies. Alternative study sites in the San Francisco Bay
    Area may be available in the near future.
• Participant must be available to come in for 1-2 appointments per
   month. Flexible scheduling is available.
